My condolences to the family. I knew Grady when I lived in Savannah in the 1970s. He was a true southern gentleman.

I was very saddened to hear of Grady's passing. I was best friends with Grady's daughter, Luann, in middle school-high school from 1970ish to 1980. We spent so much time at each other's house. The overnight stays were the best. I got to know Grady, Tish, Chris and Greg. They were/are the nicest people. Grady took Luann and I sailing. We hung out with him while he was playing around with the different cars he had temporarily for his business. He drove us to concerts in downtown Savannah. He even helped us make pizza. My heart goes out to the Foster family. Sending love and prayers during this difficult time. Love, Pam Vaughn Mizell

I knows Grady since 1992. He was always a good friend and we will truly miss him. He always made sure we had some of his fresh tomatoes every year, he knew we loved gardening just as much as he did. Donald & Jeannie Johnson Beaufort, SC

Grady was one of our bright spots serving sailors over the years. I met him at the 96 Olympic Games Yachting event and its years of experiment and training. He will be missed by so many who remember his leadership and humerus approach to some difficult issues. My heart-felt sympathy to his family and friends. Grady Foster will be missed!
